Our mission is to encourage EVERYONE on the planet to contribute to various charitable beneficiaries, voted for by those giving, by committing to giving as little as £1 per month.

Simple facts about us:

• 100% to charity - For every monthly £1 contribution, 100% of this goes to charity after PayPal fees of 5%+5p). You can offer to also cover these fees when you join us. We also seek help from other businesses or individuals out there that would like to help us cover these fees. They can do this by becoming an MJFFC GUARDIAN.
• Once a monthly donor, you can vote via our free app, download it here
• Admin and running costs - Currently we fund our entire org through private donations from businesses, which we call MJFFC GUARDIANS. Would your business like to support us by becoming a guardian?
• Zero salary & expenses - We are all volunteers, so none of us get a single penny from your donations and we cover all of our own personal expenses.
• Transparency - We show detailed records and screenshots of each monthly payout including any follow ups directly from the beneficiaries themselves (see here).

• MJFFC Members' £1+ monthly contributions.
• Various online tools - These include Easy Fundraising, Ebay Auctions, MJFFC branded clothing and more, to increase the ways in which you can give, they are all shown here.

PAST (2009-2011)
It all started in 2009 shortly after the artist and humanitarian, Michael Jackson, passed away. Through grief, a desire to make a difference in this world and the compelling need to unite Michael Jacksons fans, MJFFC was born. We started out with cause pages on Causes.com and pages on JustGiving.com, in raising money for various different charities, but after much consideration and the fact that we found this quite limiting, we evolved.

 

PRESENT (2011 - present)
From September 2011 to present, we have been putting our efforts into our monthly giving project, where we provide fans with the ability to give small donations monthly. This builds on a larger monthly donation from all of those regular donors each month. This will grow and grow with more and more donors on-board. Another key part of this project is that each donor can also vote for the beneficiaries that benefit from the money raised. The system is evolving all the time as we forever strive for a better system. We also hope some day to be able to fund urgent things instantly, such as a life saving operation for a child that needs it - at the drop of a hat - just stop and think about that for a second.

 

FUTURE
We're in this for the long run. When we have reached a significant number of monthly donors, MJFFC will seek to actively fund the training, transport and provide the technical resources to enable millions of people around the World to help heal it. Those volunteers will be provided with all the resources needed to assist them. We believe in the power of large groups of individuals and with enough of you supporting us, we can make this dream closer to reality. Every tweak we make to how our organisation is operated, is implemented with the idea of rapid expansion being achieved.

With the help of fans from all around the world, we CAN make it a MUCH better place. There's nothing that can't be done, if we raise our voice as 1.

We are currently looking for people to join our team as an ambassador. An ambassador is a member of MJFFC that wishes to help us raise awareness of our charity project via means of giving short talks about the project or attending cheque presentations and thanking our supporters face-to-face. Generally spreading the LOVE!
