The Michael Jackson Estate have been contributing to following charitable initiatives since 2009. Michael Jackson left 20% in his Will to charity, we try to document this and our findings are below.

OCTOBER 2022: Heal Los Angeles Foundation Support. The Michael Jackson Estate continue to support John Muto and Prince Jackson's Heal Los Angeles Foundation and their Thriller Night charity fundraising event.

MARCH 2020: COVID-19/Coronavirus. Michael’s Jackson’s Estate has donated $300,000 to be shared between three organisations helping with relief efforts amid the coronavirus crisis, according to Variety. The donation will be split between Three Square Food Bank, Broadway Cares and MusiCares, with each receiving a massive $100,000 from the Estate left behind by the King of Pop.

The Michael Jackson Estate today announced that it is donating $300,000 to coronavirus response efforts to help three communities that have been severely impacted by the Covid 19 virus. "In Las Vegas, the Estate’s donation will provide 300,000 meals to the needy, and help to maintain Three Square Food Bank’s supplies, the largest foodbank in Southern Nevada."

OCTOBER 2018: Center for Great Apes "In addition to the annual support for chimpanzee Bubbles’ care, the Michael Jackson Estate has donated a very generous gift this year of $100,000 to help in our expansion of new chimpanzee habitats. And now, in honor of the Center for Great Apes’ 25th Anniversary, the Jackson Estate has given another gift to help sponsor our celebration event on November 10th in Key Biscayne. We are truly grateful that the Estate honors Michael Jackson’s love for his chimpanzee Bubbles as well as his generosity with charities".

AUGUST 2018: The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation
"For this year’s very special Diamond Birthday Celebration in Las Vegas, the Estate has decided to honor Michael’s well known desire to help disadvantaged people around the world, especially children, by welcoming The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation to the event. We will join forces to support the work of GAIA Elizabeth Taylor Mobile Health Clinics which brings accessible and free health care to those living in rural Malawi."

JUNE 2009 to present day: Center for Great Apes "Bubbles was not named in Jackson’s will. However, when Bubbles first arrived at the sanctuary, an agreement was signed by a Jackson family member pledging to cover his annual care costs each year. And, for every one of the 14 years Bubbles has lived at the Center for Great Apes, MJJ Productions and the Jackson Estate have honored this agreement and sent funds to help us care for Bubbles."
